Maintenance and cleaning of the newly sanded and varnished wooden floor. On varnished floors, after 48 hours after varnishing, it can be stepped on carefully. During the 15 - 20 days, time in which the product develops all its hardness properties:
Install a good doormat at the entrance of the house
After 15 days of varnishing, you can place carpets
Protect the places with the most traffic with rugs or covers
Place fluffy felt under furniture and chair legs and avoid wearing heels indoors as it can mark and disfigure your hardwood floors
Never apply waxes or greasy products, which penetrate and can harm the wood and varnish. Use specific products for your floor
Bonna cleaner, loba cleaner
To keep your floors clean and shiny, it will suffice to wipe them daily with a cloth to collect dust, or a damp mop. (no products)
You can get a deeper cleaning by adding a little neutral soap in the mop bucket and pass this very wrung out on the pavement, then passing the dry mop
Fruit, milk, soft drink, tea, wine or coffee stains can be cleaned with a mild detergent. Use alcohol to remove felt-tip pen, ink or lipstick stains. Grease stains use a cloth moistened with ammonia. Do not let the stains dry, the sooner you clean them the better
If liquids are spilled, dry immediately, using towels or absorbent paper, and dry with a heater or hair dryer, taking care not to apply excessive heat so as not to burn the floor
